NCCC knocks off Muskegon CC

Niagara County Community College picked up its first dual-meet victory of the season on Friday night. The Thunderwolves improved to 1-4 in dual-meet action with four of the five matches coming against four-year schools.

NCCC sophomore Ethan Ferro pinned his 165-pound opponent in 28 seconds to lead the charge. Classmate Antoine Walker (149) and freshman Cameron Hall (197) also won via pinfall. The freshman tandem of Mike Catanzaro (133) and Payton Grabowski (184), meanwhile, picked up narrow wins by decision.

Olivet College 58, Niagara CCC 0

The T-Wolves were pinned in five matches and had to forfeit twice vs. the NCAA Div. III power.
