SUNY Broome ends T-Wolves' season

Niagara County Community College had its season come to a close after a 6-2 setback to visiting SUNY Broome in Region III Division III Pool A semifinal action on a rainy Tuesday afternoon at Grand Island High School's Masters Field. 

The Thunderwolves, who were making their first postseason appearance since 2006, finished the year with an overall record of 7-5. The Hornets, meanwhile, improved to 10-3 and will play Mohawk Valley Community College for the Pool A championship.

Freshman Kara Seguin scored both goals for the T-Wolves. Despite playing in just seven games, Seguin finished with 11 goals and 25 points.

N-Trip freshman Georgia Dammann was credited with an assist in the loss. She finished the year with a team-high nine helpers.

Arianna Michitti had a hat trick and Dana Stepp added two goals and three assists for the Hornets.
