Host Niagara County Community College battled warm conditions for 110 minutes and came away with a 3-3 Region III tie vs. SUNY Broome this past Saturday.
NCCC moved to 1-1-1, while the Hornets are now 0-1-1.
Freshman Rachel Chunco kicked off the scoring when she converted a cross from classmate Olivia Bruning. The tandem reversed roles later in the game when Bruning scored off a feed from Chunco.
Freshman Georgia Dammann netted the other NCCC goal with freshman Chloe Pilc earning her first career assist.
Freshman goalkeeper Madison Austin made a dozen saves as the T-Wolves were out-shot for the second straight game.
Dana Stepp scored twice for the Hornets.
The Thunderwolves have a quick turnaround as they travel to SUNY Adirondack for a key regional contest set to kick off at 1 p.m. Sunday.
