Niagara County Community College finished up its regular-season slate with a 3-1 loss to visiting NJCAA Division I power Monroe Community College on Tuesday afternoon.
The Thunderwolves are now 7-4 on the year, while the Tribunes improved to 7-7.
NCCC freshman Rachel Chunco scored her team-leading 18th goal of the season midway through the second half. Chunco's goal total is third among NJCAA Division III players this fall.
Fellow frosh Olivia Bruning was credited with the assist. It was her team-high eighth helper on the year.
Cyra Caesar scored twice for MCC.
The Thunderwolves, who are searching for their first postseason berth in over a decade, will now wait for Region III Division III playoff seeding.
