Niagara County Community College's early-season struggles continued this past weekend with a pair of Region III home losses. The Thunderwolves dropped to 0-5-0 in regional play. Next up is a road matchup vs. NJCAA Div. I Monroe Community College at 3 p.m. Wednesday.

NCCC freshman Rylee VanNostrand - also a member of the basketball team - led the T-Wolves with three shots in a physical game. Sophomore goalkeeper A'layha Carter made five saves.
Jefferson CC 6, Niagara CCC 0
The Thunderwolves, who played several players down, were out-shot 17-0 by the nationally-ranked Cannoneers. Carter made seven saves in net.
