NCCC booters can't get past Jayhawks

Niagara County Community College scored just over a minute into the game, but could not get anything else past Jamestown Community College goalkeeper Jolize Beukman as it dropped a 4-1 Region III contest to the host Jayhawks on Sunday afternoon. NCCC fell to 1-7 overall and 1-6 in regional play.

N-Trip freshman Arden Randle converted a breakaway opportunity 77 seconds into the contest. The T-Wolves would continue to pepper Beukman with shots throughout, but could get nothing else past the sophomore backstop. JCC netted four unanswered goals - two from Sheala Barresi.

The T-Wolves continue regional play with a home date vs. Onondaga Community College at 3 p.m. Saturday.
