Niagara County Community College dropped all three of its matches at this past weekend's Region III pod action held at Erie Community College. The Thunderwolves fell to 6-15 overall and will wrap up their season at Saturday's WNYAC Tournament hosted by Monroe CC.
Cayuga CC 22-25-25-18-15, Niagara CCC 25-15-19-25-9
Sophomore outside hitter Allie Bubar ripped 17 kills and 12 digs in the five-set loss. Sophomore setter Morgan Boss had 35 assists, sophomore middle hitter Alyssa Schlosser notched eight kills and five aces and freshman outside hitter Kelsi Palistrant chipped in with six kills.
Onondaga CC 25-25-25, Niagara CCC 18-10-21
Bubar and classmate Miranda Newman combined for 12 kills in the straight-set loss. Boss added 17 assists.
Jefferson CC 25-25-25, Niagara CCC 18-7-21
Bubarhad 12 kills and six digs in the three-set defeat. Palistrant chipped in with eight kills and nine digs and Schlosser had five kills and five digs.
