Trio of NCCC spikers named All-Region

Niagara County Community College had three players named to the 2020-21 Region III women's volleyball first team following Thursday's season finale. Sophomores Jenn Myers and Sarah Syracuse were joined on the squad by freshman Gianna Smalley.

Myers led NCCC with 27 kills to go along with 21 digs. Syracuse notched a team-high 63 assists, while Smalley finished with 27 kills and 29 digs in the abbreviated four-match season.

Representing Region III champion Erie CC on the first team was Tabitha Allen, Jiana Kresconko and Aurora Davis. ECC coach Craig Starzynski was named Region III Coach of the Year, while Davis was tabbed Region III Player of the Year.
