Niagara County Community College dropped its third straight Region III matchup against host Erie Community College on Thursday night. The scores were 25-22, 25-20 and 25-13 in favor of the Kats, who improved to 3-1 overall and 3-0 in regional play. NCCC dropped to 0-3.
Sophomore Jenn Myers led the T-Wolves with five kills and 11 digs, while classmate Zahraa Kareem had 19 digs and freshman Gianna Smalley chipped in with four kills and five digs in the loss.
Caroline Zanghi led a balanced ECC attack with seven kills.
NCCC will wrap up its abbreviated spring season at 6 p.m. March 25 when it hosts the Kats for the fourth and final matchup of the year.
