Niagara County Community College wrapped up its abbreviated spring season with a fourth consecutive setback against Region III rival Erie Community College on Thursday night. The scores were 25-9, 25-17, 25-14 in favor of ECC, which improved to 4-1. NCCC finishes its season at 0-4 overall.
Freshman Gianna Smalley led NCCC in Thursday's loss, finishing with five kills and seven digs. Sophomore Jenn Myers also had five kills and classmate Sarah Syracuse chipped in with 12 assists.
Jiana Kresconko had six kills and nine digs for the Kats, who advance to the East District Championship on April 2 at the Region XIX champion.
