NCCC struggles vs. unbeaten Hornets

Visiting Niagara County Community College lost three straights to unbeaten Region III opponent SUNY Broome on Saturday afternoon.

The scores were 25-6, 25-7 and 25-8 in favor of the Hornets (8-0). NCCC fell to 2-8.

Freshman Jocelyn Swierski had 20 digs for N-Trip, which failed to record a single kill in the match. Classmate Kaitlin Hoadley had four digs and the team's lone block.

Macey Gibson had eight kills to lead a balanced SUNY Broome attack.

The Thunderwolves look to re-group when they next take the floor - 11 a.m. Sat. Oct. 16 at Cayuga Community College.
