NCCC closes regular season with loss at ECC

Niagara County Community College wrapped up its regular season with a straight-set Region III loss to host Erie Community College on Tuesday night.

The scores were 25-16, 25-18 and 25-19 in favor of the Kats (11-6). NCCC dropped to 2-9.

N-Trip freshman Sarah Outten had a career-high 11 digs in the loss. Classmate Jocelyn Swierski added 10 digs, freshman Kaitlin Hoadley had 11 assists and sophomore Kim Norman notched three kills and seven digs.

Aurora Davis had a match-high 17 kills for ECC.

The Thunderwolves will put a bow on the fall 2021 season this Saturday when they travel to Monroe Community College for the annual Western New York Athletic Conference Tournament.
