Volleyball drops two competitive matches

Niagara County Community College dropped a pair of competitive matches this past weekend as it hosted Region III pod action. The Thunderwolves slipped to 1-4 overall and 0-4 in regional play. N-Trip returns to WNYAC play at 6 p.m. Thursday when it makes the short trip to local rival Erie Community College.

SUNY Adirondack 25-25-25, Niagara CCC 12-21-14

NCCC freshman Camri King had seven kills, 12 assists and seven digs in the straight-set setback. Classmate Maggie Monachino added four kills and 10 assists and freshman Juliana Levesque put down six kills.

Hudson Valley CC 25-25-25, Niagara CCC 22-23-20

King had another strong performance, finishing with 10 kills, eight assists and seven service aces. Monachino chipped in with five kills and 10 assists and freshman Lilah Frerichs had five kills and four blocks.
