T-Wolves split twinbill with ECC

Niagara County Community College split a pair of Region III Western Division road games at Erie Community College on Monday. The Thunderwolves, who took the season series vs. the rival Kats 3-1, improved to 8-6 overall and 3-1 in the division. ECC is now 5-7, 1-3. N-Trip has a quick turnaround as it travels to Bryant & Stratton College (Albany) for a 2 p.m. doubleheader today. 

Erie CC 6, Niagara CCC 3

NCCC sophomore Scottie O'Bryan was 2-for-2 with a home run, two RBIs and two runs scored, but the host Kats scored five runs in the bottom of the sixth to go ahead. Freshman Vincent Stutz tripled in defeat. Sophomore Devaun Farnham had a solid start, going 4.2 innings with just four hits and one earned run allowed.

Niagara CCC 7, Erie CC 3

Freshman Dylan Crowley allowed just six hits and struck out nine in a complete-game effort. Freshman Andrew Fairbrother was 3-for-5 with a double, two RBIs and two stolen bases in the win. Classmates Cal Brazier and Lance Baldensperger each had two hits and an RBI.
