Thunderwolves hit century mark again

Niagara County Community College surpassed the century mark for the second consecutive game as it knocked off Region III foe Jamestown Community College, 102-69, inside the JCC Phys Ed Complex on Friday night. The Thunderwolves, who are receiving votes in the latest NJCAA Div. II polls, improved to 6-0 overall and 2-0 in regional play. The Jayhawks slipped to 1-3, 0-2.

Sophomore Adam Hosseini led NCCC with 18 points and seven rebounds, while classmate Kailee White added 16 points and seven assists. Freshman Naz'ea Fowlks netted 13 points & fellow first-year player Taylor Sanders added 10. The Thunderwolves canned 13 3-pointers and had 21 total assists in the blowout victory.

Isaac Allen led JCC with 16 points.

Next up for the T-Wolves is a big road test at NJCAA Div. I Allegany College of Maryland. Tip-off is slated for 3 p.m. Sunday.
