NCCC tops Jayhawks for third time

Niagara County Community College earned its third consecutive Region III win over visiting Jamestown Community College with a 105-91 decision on Friday night. The Thunderwolves, who raced out to a 61-43 halftime lead, improved to 7-1 overall and 3-0 in regional play. The Jayhawks, meanwhile, fell to 2-4, 0-3. 

Sophomore Kailee White led a balanced NCCC attack with a game-high 22 points. Freshman Jamond Jones canned five 3-pointers on his way to 21 points, sophomore Adam Hosseini had 12 points and classmate Donte Scott added 10. The T-Wolves shot a blistering 54 percent from the field in the victory.

Joseph Okonoboh and Kane Kenyon had 17 points apiece for JCC.

The Thunderwolves return to the floor at 4 p.m. Sunday when they visit NJCAA Div. I Harcum College.
