Niagara County Community College raced out to a 51-29 halftime lead en route to a 100-76 Western New York Athletic Conference home win over Jamestown Community College on Wednesday night.
NCCC, ranked No. 13 in the latest NJCAA Div. II polls, improved to 17-4 overall, 2-0 WNYAC. JCC fell to 2-17, 0-2.
The Thunderwolves had six players in double figures led by the freshman tandem of Justin Hendrick and Allen Fordham, who both had 17 points. Hendrick added eight assists and Fordham had six assists.
Also for N-Trip, freshman Lamar Lovelace had 16 points and six rebounds, freshman Matthew Cleveland notched a double-double with 14 points and 10 boards, freshman Aaron Miller contributed 12 points and five rebounds and classmate Manny Montero chipped in with 11 points and seven rebounds.
Elgin Oliver scored 25 points to lead the Jayhawks.
