Thunderwolves double up Jefferson CC

Niagara County Community College moved back above .500 after a 4-2 Region III road win at Jefferson Community College on Saturday afternoon.

The Thunderwolves are now 5-4, while the Cannoneers dropped to 1-10.

Jay Yule continued his strong freshman campaign for NCCC, netting a pair of goals in the win. Yule now has a team-best 11 goals on the season.

Freshman Harry Carter, normally a goalkeeper, scored his first collegiate goal and classmate Tomosin Bamgbose added a single tally. 

First-year player A.J. McMillan had two assists, while sophomore Jacob Fleck and freshman Anthony Hunt were each credited with an assist.

N-Trip goalkeeper Lucas Schiel had eight saves in net.

The T-Wolves have a quick turnaround with a home match vs. nationally-ranked Mohawk Valley Community College set for 3 p.m. Sunday.
