SUNY Niagara comes up just short vs. Saints

SUNY Niagara allowed three second-half goals and squandered a narrow 2-1 halftime lead en route to a heartbreaking 4-3 Region III loss to visiting North Country Community College on Saturday afternoon. The Thunderwolves dropped to 0-6-0 overall and in regional play.

Freshman Dylan Ljiljanich recorded an impressive hat trick, including the game's first two goals. It was the first two-goal lead of the season for SUNY Niagara.

Classmate Luca Carozza, who was making his season debut, assisted on two of the goals. Freshman goalkeeper Quinn Walton made 14 saves in net.

The Thunderwolves have a quick turnaround as they host Clinton Community College at Noon Sunday.
