NCCC gets road win at Herkimer

Niagara County Community College picked up a 91-53 road win over nationally-ranked NJCAA Div. III Herkimer College on Thursday night. 

The Thunderwolves, ranked No. 20 in the latest Div. II poll, improved to 21-3 overall. The Generals slipped to 15-7.

NCCC freshman Gabrielle McDuffie had 17 points, 10 rebounds and five assists in the win. Fellow frosh Brianna Beebe netted a career-high 16 points.

Also for N-Trip, freshman Kiya Marquez had 12 points and four steals and classmate Ashley Tucker added 10 points and eight boards.

Jenna Faulkner had 16 points and nine rebounds for Herkimer.

The T-Wolves have a quick turnaround with a pair of road tilts scheduled for this weekend. NCCC travels to Monroe CC for a 1 p.m. tip on Saturday and Allegany College of Maryland at 1 p.m. Sunday.
