Niagara County Community College used a 14-0 run in the early stages of the fourth quarter to earn a hard-fought 68-60 Western New York Athletic Conference win over visiting Jamestown Community College on Wednesday night.
The No. 20 Thunderwolves improved to 24-3 overall and 6-0 in WNYAC play. The Jayhawks slipped to 11-13, 2-3.
NCCC, which was ice cold all night long, was led by freshman Gabrielle McDuffie's 15 points, seven rebounds and four steals.
Also for N-Trip, sophomore Alaina Forbes scored 12 points, freshman Brianna Beebe netted 10 points and freshman Kiya Marquez contributed 10 points and four assists.
Hannah Hicks scored 18 points to lead JCC.
The T-Wolves close out the regular season at 6 p.m. Friday when they visit Springfield Technical Community College.
