Wolves move to 10-0 overall

SUNY Niagara had all 10 players score and six finished in double figures as it dropped host Corning Community College, 100-54, in non-conference action on Wednesday night. The Thunderwolves, ranked No. 14 in the latest NJCAA Div. II poll, improved to 10-0 overall. 

Freshman Kierra Kline scored a career-best 17 points to lead the Wolfpack. Sophomore Makayla Thomas added 15 points, six assists and four steals, freshman Atarah Walker had a double-double with 13 points and 11 rebounds and freshman Mackenzie Owens chipped in with 13 points and four boards. 

Also for the Wolves, sophomore Krystal Smith stuffed the stat sheet with 11 points, nine rebounds, five steals and four assists. Freshman Isabella Karabetsos contributed 10 points, nine assists, seven steals and four boards.

SUNY Niagara finished with 30 steals and 29 assists as a unit. The T-Wolves return to action at 1 p.m. Saturday for a matchup vs. Sullivan Community College. The contest will be played at Jamestown Community College as part of its annual Post-Journal Jayhawk Classic.
