SUNY Niagara wrapped up the regular season with a 101-37 road win at Western New York Athletic Conference rival Erie Community College on Saturday afternoon.
The Thunderwolves, ranked No. 17 in the latest NJCAA Div. II poll, improved to 25-3 overall and 6-0 in WNYAC play. ECC, meanwhile, dropped to 2-21, 0-6.
Freshman point guard Isabella Karabetsos led a parade of seven players in double figures as she finished with a game-high 19 points and 12 assists.
Sophomore Krystal Smith had 16 points and 12 rebounds, while classmate Makayla Thomas added 13 points and six boards and fellow second-year player Cassidy Bauer chipped in a career-high 13 points.
Also for the Wolves, freshman Mackenzie Owens canned four 3-pointers for 12 points, freshman Atarah Walker notched 10 points and 14 rebounds and fellow frosh Ava Bull had 10 points and 13 boards.
SUNY Niagara is the top seed and will host the Region III Div. II Championships. The T-Wolves received a bye into the title game and will play the winner of No. 2 Jamestown CC vs. No. 3 Monroe CC at 1 p.m. Sunday.
