SUNY Niagara went on the road and secured an 80-57 Western New York Athletic Conference win at Jamestown Community College on Monday afternoon.
With the victory, the Thunderwolves earned the right to host the Region III Division II championships on March 1 and 2.
SUNY Niagara, ranked No. 18 in this past week's poll, improved to 24-3 overall and 5-0 in the WNYAC. JCC, meanwhile, dropped to 15-5, 3-2.
Sophomore Krystal Smith scored a career-high 30 points to go with 13 rebounds in the win. Classmate Anaya Smith added 17 points, six boards and three blocks for the Wolves, who scored 70 points in the paint.
Sophomore Makayla Thomas stuffed the stat sheet with 14 points, eight rebounds, seven assists and three steals.
The T-Wolves wrap up the regular season at 1 p.m. Saturday with a road game at Erie Community College.
