Niagara County Community College knocked off visiting Finger Lakes Community College 4-3 in an exciting Region III contest on Wednesday afternoon. It was the Thunderwolves' fifth straight win.
NCCC is now 6-1 on the season, while the Lakers fell to 6-4-1.
N-Trip freshman Kara Seguin netted the game-winning goal with just over six minutes remaining. Classmate Stephanie Penna earned the assist.
Seguin finished with a hat trick, giving her seven goals on the season. She also had an assist.
NCCC's leading scorer, freshman Rachel Chunco, had a goal and an assist in the win. She now has 14 goals on the year.
