Seguin earns regional honors

Niagara County Community College sophomore striker Kara Seguin was recently named third team All-Region following a vote of Region III coaches.

Seguin led NCCC with 11 goals, 23 points and 34 shots in just eight games played.

She scored a hat trick in a win vs. Roberts Wesleyan JV and had two goals in a trio of other contests.

In two seasons with the royal, gold and black, Seguin totaled 22 goals and 48 points. 

Amber Piersma of Mohawk Valley CC was named Player of the Year, while SUNY Broome's Bill Rich was the Coach of the Year.
