Women's soccer drops season opener

Niagara County Community College kicked off its season with a tough 14-0 Region III road loss to nationally-ranked Herkimer College this past Saturday. The Thunderwolves, who played most the game a man down, fell to 0-1.

Lydia Reimer had four goals and three assists to lead a parade of nine different goal scorers for the Generals. Herkimer held a 39-3 advantage in shots on goal.

NCCC looks to get back on track at 5 p.m. Wednesday when it hosts SUNY Broome in its home opener.
