Niagara County Community College had an errant hitting performance on its way to a pair of Region III losses in pod action this past Saturday at Monroe Community College. The Thunderwolves are now 1-7 overall and 0-6 in regional play. NCCC returns to the court at 10 a.m. Saturday when it hosts Onondaga Community College and Erie Community College in regional pod play.

Freshman Lilah Frerichs had a pair of blocks and classmate Camri King put down two kills in the straight-set loss to the nationally-ranked Lakers.
Monroe CC 25-25-25, Niagara CCC 21-13-16
King notched 16 assists, seven digs and five service aces, but the Tribunes avenged an earlier-season loss. Freshman Hanna Roberts chipped in 12 digs.
