T-Wolves take three games vs. Jamestown

Niagara County Community College won three of four games against Region III rival Jamestown Community College this past weekend.

NCCC concluded the regular season with an 11-5 record and await its postseason fate. JCC, meanwhile, finishes its season at 4-18.

Niagara CCC 7, Jamestown CC 2

Freshman Lydia Serrano threw a complete-game, four-hitter with four Ks. She also ripped an RBI double at the dish. Classmate Ashley Hill was 4-for-4 with two doubles, a triple and two RBIs, fellow first-year player Makayla Montes went 2-for-4 with three RBIs and freshman Jordan Dixon added an RBI and three runs scored.

Jamestown CC 11, Niagara CCC 7

Freshman Hannah Duderwick was 3-for-3 with two home runs and three RBIs, but the T-Wolves surrendered five runs in the top of the seventh frame. Montes hit a two-run home run, freshman Morgan Allis had a solo home run and Hill was 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI.

Niagara CCC 7, Jamestown CC 6

Dixon was 3-for-4 with a double, triple and an RBI as NCCC escaped. Freshman Olivia Smith finished 2-for-2 with a triple, RBI and two runs scored and Montes was 2-for-4 with an RBI and scored twice. Serrano again went the distance and struck out six. At the dish, she was 2-for-3 with an RBI.

Niagara CCC 13, Jamestown CC 5 (6 inn.)

Montes was 3-for-4 with a pair of triples, three RBIs and three runs scored in the mercy-rule victory. Allis went 3-for-3 with a double, triple and two RBIs, Serrano was 2-for-4 with two RBIs and Smith added two hits, an RBI and three runs scored. Dixon, who improved to 3-1 in the circle, was 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI.
