T-Wolves run past Cuyahoga

Niagara County Community College had five players in double figures as it rolled to an 85-56 non-conference road win at Cuyahoga Community College this past Wednesday. The Thunderwolves, ranked No. 14 in the latest NJCAA Div. II poll, improved to 7-0 overall.

NCCC freshman point guard Mia Little had 14 points, three rebounds and three assists to lead the charge. Classmate Rachel Kamrowski also netted 14 points, while freshman forward Casey Mahony added 12 points and eight rebounds, sophomore guard Faith Alessandra scored 12 points and freshman forward Anaya Smith chipped in with 11 points and six boards.

N-Trip, which canned nine 3-pointers in the win, used its stifling defense to built a 20-point halftime lead and never looked back. The T-Wolves return to action at 5 p.m. Wed. Nov. 29 at Butler County Community College.
