T-Wolves inch closer to .500

SUNY Niagara sophomore Rylee VanNostrand netted the game-winning goal with seven minutes remaining in regulation as the Thunderwolves slipped past visiting Jamestown Community College, 3-2, in Region III action on Wednesday afternoon. The Thunderwolves are now 3-5-0 overall and 3-4-0 in regional contests.

Freshman Samantha Furan finished with one goal and two assists, including a nice cross on the game winner. Classmate Natalie Hoffman added one goal and fellow frosh Alexandria Szratter made eight saves in goal.

The Wolfpack wraps up its season at 3 p.m. Wed. Oct. 16 with a home date vs. Corning Community College.
